It’s ‘game on’ for Australia’s new privacy laws

Years after the Law Reform Commission report that spawned it, the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Bill 2012 was finally passed by the Australian Parliament today. The new Act is the most extensive proposal for privacy law reform in 20 years.  And it’s now likely to take effect from March 2014.

Privacy.com.au will assist Australian business to understand and comply with the new regime, including free and paid downloadable templates and other resources.
